As sustainability is a top concern for Capital City Paving and the surrounding region, we are committed to reducing our carbon footprint and extending the finite resources used by the Asphalt and Aggregate Industry. For the past 16 years, Capital City Paving has operated a Double Barrel Green Astec Asphalt Plant that has the ability to recycle old asphalt pavement for reintroduction into our asphalt mixes, effectively reusing the asphalt bitumen and aggregates.
In recent years, our organization has shifted to the introduction of new technologies to wash excess soil and fill material that would be normally disposed of at landfills. Partnering with Terex Wash Systems, the above video outlines our most recent advancement into these new aggregate recycling processes to help push our region into better material management.
Capital City Paving is proud to bring the Aggwash 60 Recycling Plant- an advanced system that turns construction, non contaminated excavation materials into clean, high-quality recycled aggregates. This investment supports municipalities, contractors, and developers who are seeking cost effective, environmentally responsibly material solutions.
